Hey, so today I want to talk about what I would consider the most important thing that you purchase, whether it’s a business transaction, pair of shoes, car, whatever it is, and that’s the warranty. We pride ourselves at Peskies pest control, because we, in my opinion, have such a great warranty. You know, if you’re not happy with our service, we’re going to come out, and we’re going to do it for free, and we’re gonna get, we’re gonna get everything solved, and make you happy.
Travis McGowin
Yeah, I can definitely say that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a warranty in our line of work in the pest control industry, that pretty much plain and simple states that if you’re not happy, and we can’t make it right, we’ll give you your money back. And I think it’s pretty cut and dry. I think it says a lot and speaks a lot about the product that we provide, and how we feel about that product and our attitude towards our services and products that we provide. I think it speaks volumes, because, like you said, no matter what you buy, no matter what services you go through, if they’ve got a warranty, to some degree, you would think that that means that that company is going to stand behind their work, and I feel like ours is kind of like the ultimate thing, you know, it’s like, Hey, we’re so confident, and we’re gonna stand behind our work. And if not, we’re gonna give it we’re gonna give you your money back. And there’s just I mean, in a world where there’s a lot of half hearted promises and products that fail after a year and that sort of thing, I feel like we kind of shine a little bit on our warranty.
Michael Wienecke
Correct. Perfect example, I bought a couch a couple of years ago, and now that couch is starting to fall apart a little bit. So I got a warranty with it. And I called the manufacturer and I don’t have a warranty there, they’re not going to do anything about the couch falling apart. So that’s really kind of what brought me on to talk about it today is I think that a warranty is everything. I think that you know, if you’re going to spend your hard earned money on something, you need to know that you’re going to be backed by a company. And our biggest motto is, you know, I’m not I don’t want you to pay for something that you’re not getting, if you sign up with a service, and it’s not working for you, you know, within that 30 day period, just call us up, let us know, hey, this is not working, we’ll come out and try to make it right, if we can’t come out and make it right, and we can’t solve that problem. And we will give you all your money back.
Travis McGowin
Yeah, you know, and whenever whenever anybody is, is purchasing something like that, whether that’s an item, whether that’s a service from a service provider of some sort, you should always ask, ours is kind of blatantly pasted on the back of our trucks, on the tailgate area on the you know, on the back of the trucks. But you should always, you should always ask just like, you know, if you’re buying something expensive or refinancing your home, or whatever it is, I know that there’s a whole mound of paperwork, and there’s a lot of signatures and a lot of things going on. But I mean, if you have it within your power, you should try to read all the paperwork and ask all the questions that you can. And if you’re going to hire out a company to come into your home and perform a service. You should, right off the bat ask about a warranty. Speaking in the pest control industry, I had a customer who swapped to us from a different pest control provider, because she had called and asked them about a re service or something of that nature. And had asked about them coming back out and they said, Well, it’s the summertime. And because of the weather and it’s so hot, we don’t warranty our work in the summer. And that just blew my mind.
Michael Wienecke
Yeah, that doesn’t make you feel very warm and fuzzy inside.
Travis McGowin
Well, it doesn’t really make you feel like they’re confident in their abilities.
Michael Wienecke
Yeah, and I hate to say that, I’m not talking about one one company, specifically, just the fact that once again, if you’re paying for something you expect to have it done correctly, you expect to have your problem solved. And if you’re not having your problem solved, then you shouldn’t have to pay for it.
Travis McGowin
Exactly. I agree. 100% Completely
