Bed bugs are a common pest that can be difficult to get rid of. However, heat treatments are one of the most effective ways to exterminate bed bugs. Peskies Pest Control uses state-of-the-art heat treatment equipment to kill bed bugs at all life stages, including eggs.

How Heat Treatment Works

Heat treatment works by raising the temperature of the infested area to a level that is lethal to bed bugs of all life stages, including their eggs.

How Peskies Pest Control Performs Heat Treatments

Our heat treatment process begins with a thorough inspection of your home or business to determine the extent of the bed bug infestation.  Once the infested areas have been identified, we will schedule a time to deploy our heat treatment equipment and begin the treatment process. Our equipment uses a 990,000+ BTU heater coupled with fans strategically placed throughout the structure to raise the temperature of the infested area to the desired level. We monitor the temperature throughout the treatment process to ensure that it is maintained at a level that is lethal to the bed bugs. The length of time required for a heat treatment will vary depending on the size of the infested area and the severity of the infestation. However, most heat treatments take several hours to complete.

Bed bugs are small, parasitic insects that feed on the blood of humans and animals. They can live in bedding, furniture, and other places where people sleep or rest. Bed bug bites can cause itching, redness, and swelling. Bed bug eggs are small, white ovals that are often difficult to see.
